Implants and Gum treatments

A Periodontist is a qualified dentist who has completed further postgraduate training and is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of gum disease and other gum related problems.

Hatem Algraffee qualified as a dentist from the Royal London Hospital (General Dental Council registration 72250). He then worked in an oral and maxillo-facial surgery department, followed by several positions for various health authorities and general practice.

He completed four years full time specialist training in Periodontology at Guys London Hospital. He was awarded a Masters Degree (MSc) in Periodontology and Masters in Clinical Dentistry (M.Clin.Dent) from Guys Hospital. This was followed by the award by examination of the membership in restorative dentistry (MRD) by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He is also an implant mentor for local dentists. His previous positions were as a Specialist Clinical Teacher at Guys Hospital, as a Senior Dental Officer for Hammersmith and Fulham Trust and as a Postgraduate Dental Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Hatem now dedicates his time to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in private practice, and heads the PerioAcadamy in London


Straight Teeth

Juliette qualified as a dentist in 1999 in Paris where she started to work in cosmetic dentistry before becoming passionate about orthodontics. She completed her post graduate training in Orthodontics in Paris V University (Certificate of post graduate studies in Dento- facial Orthopaedics) and Paris VI University (Diploma in Paediatric Orthodontics) as well as a two year private course in Orthodontics (CETO) and set up a practice with her husband, Pascal. In 2006, She moved to England with her family and continued training in Orthodontics. She is now a certified provider of Invisalign and Incognito (lingual braces).

She is currently completing the International certificate in Orthodontics at New York University and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society. She enjoys her life in Oxford with her husband and their two boys. Outside work, she likes polo, traveling, drawing and going to see art exhibitions.
