If you are not a member of our dental practice in Newbury, we can still offer same-day emergency dental appointments for £99 every weekday and alternate Saturdays. 8.30am -5.30pm


We would expect to be able to help you out of your immediate difficulties normally within 30 minutes of seeing you.


After hours, weekends and on Bank Holidays we cannot guarantee to be available but you may ask for advice or assistance for no charge.


If there is an out of hours call-out then the call-out fee is £120 plus treatment up to £140.


In this case, payment would be made in advance of treatment

What is a dental emergency requiring urgent treatment?


  1.  Facial swelling which is getting worse
  2. Severe pain not helped by normal pain killers (Ibuprofen, Anadin etc) and which wakes you from sleep or stops you sleeping
  3. Unexpected bleeding following tooth removal
  4. Traumatic injury to teeth, for example after a fall or assault which loosens or knocks out a tooth ot teeth

What is NOT a dental emergency but which should be treated at the next available time during normal hours?


  1. A chipped or broken filling
  2. A lost crown
  3. Bleeding gums
