I am writing to express my thanks to Richard and his team for the outstanding care I have received during the past year as the result of an accident when 2 upper and lower incisors were almost knocked out of their sockets and I needed emergency treatment straight away.

On 31^st December 2007 I called Richard, who was on holiday at the time, and he came back to Newbury immediately to examine the damage to my mouth. Naturally I was in extreme pain but Richard’s anaesthesia techniques plus his reassurance and explanations during each stage of the treatment meant that I had ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN WHATSOEVER during the subsequent straightening and root-filling of these teeth.  Richard’s professionalism and thoughtfulness have been outstanding.  Furthermore I have been so impressed with the fact that he was not afraid to seek further advice before and during treatment to make sure that I received the best care possible.  A year on and my teeth have recovered completely from the trauma.I would not hesitate in recommending Richard to anybody  who is considering choosing a new dentist or who is anxious about painful treatments – as mentioned previously the anaesthesia techniques that Richard uses ensure a completely pain free experience.  Thank you to everyone at Richard Charon’s Dental Practice,

Dr. Charon has been my dentist for over 18 years. During that time I have had the most excellent professional treatment. From the outset my anxiety was recognised and I was offered a number of options to help address this and restore my confidence in the work to be done. I chose the “happy Air” sedation which has worked wonderfully for me and I would easily recommend this to any other person apprehensive about visiting the dentist.

I can not thank you enough for your patience and understanding of my fear of the dentist, as you know before I set foot in your practice I had not visited the Dentist for 10 years.
